Tradex Systems LLC was founded in 2023 by Isaac Hartford, a software engineer from New Hampshire, USA. 

At age 17, he began working full-time as a software engineer for a database firm in Boston, later joining the SQL optimizer team in Europe. 

After returning to the US in 2021, he was recruited by a software startup as a distributed systems and networking expert. There, he developed a framework for helping new technology companies optimize their software systems for cost efficiency and performance. 

In 2023, he was headhunted by MIT to assist research scientists in building genomic cryptography technology - an event which sparked the formation of Tradex Systems LLC. 

The surge in Tradex Systems’ software consulting business was augmented by the launch of a large proprietary quantitative trading division, currently running statistical arbitrage, short volatility, and long/short equity strategies, and a credit fund. 

Today, Tradex Systems LLC serves private technology and financial clients worldwide by providing bespoke AI-powered technology solutions, supported by its global team of handpicked engineers and analysts.
